How VJ Nexus uses your information

Who we are

VJ Nexus is an independent IT consultancy based in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal information collected through this website. You can reach us at info@vjnexus.co.uk.

What we collect and why

When you use the contact form we receive the name, email address and message you give us, plus any company name or phone number you choose to add. We use these only to reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver the services you ask for. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and performance of a contract once one exists.

We do not use your details for marketing unless you separately ask us to, and we never sell or share them with third parties for their own purposes.

How the form reaches us

Form submissions are relayed to our Google Workspace mailbox by FormSubmit, a form-forwarding service. FormSubmit processes the submission only to deliver it to us. Our email is hosted by Google Workspace.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for the duration of the engagement and for six years afterwards to meet accounting and legal obligations.

Cookies

This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may record your IP address when the font files are requested.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Email info@vjnexus.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
