IT helpdesk and incident support
Good support is not a ticket number. It is a person who knows your systems, answers within an agreed time and fixes the cause rather than the symptom. That is what an ITIL-aligned service means in practice.
Sound familiar?
The problems this solves
- Support requests that go to whoever seems technical, with nothing tracked and no way to tell what keeps breaking.
- A large managed service provider where you are the smallest account and it shows in the response times.
- Windows Server and Active Directory issues that everyone works around because nobody is confident touching them.
What's included
What we do
Helpdesk
Email, phone and Teams support with a ticketing system, priority levels and response targets written into the agreement.
Incident management
Triage, communication while the incident runs, resolution and a short review afterwards so the same fault does not return.
Problem management
Recurring issues traced to root cause and fixed, with a monthly summary of what happened and what changed.
Windows Server and Active Directory
Domain controllers, group policy, DNS and DHCP, file servers, hybrid join to Entra ID and tidy-ups of accounts and groups.
Change management
Planned changes are scheduled, communicated and reversible, so upgrades stop being surprises.
Reporting
A monthly report of tickets, response times against target, recurring themes and recommendations.
How it runs
A typical engagement
- 1
Onboard
We document your systems, users and suppliers, agree priorities and response targets and set up the ticketing channel.
- 2
Stabilise
The first month usually clears a backlog of known irritations and puts monitoring in place so we hear about faults first.
- 3
Run
Day-to-day support against the agreed targets, with a named contact and a monthly report.
- 4
Improve
Quarterly reviews of recurring problems and small projects to remove them.
Outcomes
What you get
- Every request logged, prioritised and answered within an agreed time.
- Faults fixed at the cause, with fewer repeat tickets each quarter.
- A monthly report you can read in two minutes.
- A single point of contact who knows your environment.

Frequently asked
What are your support hours?
Standard cover is Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm UK time. Extended hours and out-of-hours emergency cover are available on request.
What does ITIL-aligned actually mean?
ITIL is the standard framework for running IT services. Aligned means we use its practices for incidents, problems and changes, sized for a small business rather than a bank.
Can you work alongside our existing IT person?
Yes. Many clients have one internal person who benefits from a second pair of hands, cover for holidays and someone to escalate to.
Is there a minimum contract?
Monthly plans run on a rolling basis with one month's notice. Fixed-scope projects are priced individually.
